To connect and login to the HPC system you must use the SSH protocol.
Telnet and FTP are no-longer supported due to their low security.
There is some local information on SSH and a link to Freeware for Windows.
Use the SSH protocol to transfer files to and from the HPC systems.
The SSH protocol suite provides the “sftp” (Secure FTP) equivilent to FTP and the includes the “scp” (secure copy) command for single file transfer.
For further information, refer to the documentation for the ssh client software installed on your local computer.
