- A single home directory accessible from all HPC systems
- Local fast scratch space for each HPC system
- Hierarchical Storage Management that frees disk space by automatically moving idle data to/from tape.
- Data Backup and Management
- Data Management Services for associated research units.
Data Management services are delivered by an SGI Origin 3000 connected
to StorageTek Tape Library and to a FibreChannel Fabric with 2 Disk
