The HPC Support Group provides network license services for the University for a number of software products.

If you are entitled to use it, you must first download the software from the ITS Licensing and Maintenance Downloads Site (http://www.uq.edu.au/secure/software/)

The products that we provide network licensing for currently include:

• Ansys
• AVS
• FASTRAN
• Fluent
• Intel Compilers
• Matlab
• Mathematica
  
• MSC
• StarP

The arrangements for network licenses are subtly different for each product and details are provided elsewhere on this site for some of them. Enter the product name into the search bar on the main page.

Where the software calls for a license server then enter the name: license.hpcu.uq.edu.au
As a general rule we will use the standard network port numbers whereever possible.

Note: To access this service, you will need to be on UQ network (which includes the VPN if you are off campus)
